Ed hangs around here sometimes and may pipe in...I'm sure he's reading =
the memcal, erasing the PROM on the board with a UV eraser, and =
reprogramming with a burner. He's got a lot of GM files already done up, =
and has his own unique tuning style (which works).
Lyndon.

I'm new to the list. My question is how do these guys such as =
Fastchip, TPIS etc. program a prom chip. I have an 89 Corvette that has =
the blue push in type prom. Currently I have a prom from fastchip. He =
orders proms from GM, erases them and then reprograms them. What do you =
use for this? Is this considered hacking or is there a program you can =
buy? My 89 needs returned because it is running a little rich after =
ported heads, headers and a cam.
