But remember that the later (still MAP) VR Holdens' used the 16183082
and 16206305 ECMs which are a '165 compatible. Here's Ross's page...

So - there's no excuse for not running MAP on a '165.

These run at 8192 baud. S0ooo - With the plethora of free scan tools,
no-one should be complaining that they don't have any diagnostic tools
(One could complain that no-one has made available their scantool's 
configuration file for their particular model - but that's the fun
of DIY!)
