I understand 5 baud (1/5 sec per bit) so 1.8 seconds per character = 9 bits (ie. 1 start + 8 data, hold the stop bit!). But is this first character the MESSAGE ID/MODULE ID, of a standard 8192 baud request, or something else? regards, Peter
