No idea.. All I've got is a cheesy Haynes manual with a diagram that
I've looked at maybe once or twice.  I thought about 4 cyl cars I've
seen that are DIS and I believe they are 2 coil, not 4 coil as I had
originally thought.  I know the Cadillac Northstar 4.6 engine has a 8
cyl DIS system, I wonder how that one works.

do  you happen to know what
info it is that is sent from the ECM to
the DIS (ie dwell, spark advanc/retard,
etc.).
