Re: What model ECM is this ?
Scott,
my goal is just not to be able to tune the Snakeskinner for racing but to
learn as much as I can to
help others who own a ZR-1.
We are like stepchilds within G.M itself and with less then 7,000 ZR-1s made
we are on our own and have to
learn how to make code changes if its for racing or for mods for street
driving.
I would think that since the LT-5 is a 4 cam, 16 injector Lotus design that
other engiine management products may not be a just play and play with the
existing ECM.
With about 600 teammates within Team ZR-1 only Mark Romans is the only one
with any insight of the ECM and his is on the base Corvette.
I now see that G.M did major changes from '90 to the '91 which limits me to
even getting another bin file to do a compare, but as a whole I need to
boneup on the LT-5 ECM overall.
I did a compare on my E-prom and one from a 91 ZR-1 E-prom and can see some
things in common but I d not even know if I am selecting the right processor
from the C.A.T.S cross disassembler I am trying out.
