RE: Writting to memcals
What type are they??? Ie manufacturer....or any notation on them...
Use only 72c.. as in the cmos type...
They may also be burned out.. he he..or close to the end of their life

Subject: Writting to memcals
I need a clue.
I have 3 memcals, that take 3x the normal erase time, and refuse to
take a
"burn".
One is a 256K that was used where it just needed to be a 128K, and
the other
is a 128K where a 128K was used. I also, have an aftermarket doing
the same
thing.
I've tried 27128, 27C128, and 27128A.
And when I use the generic take outs just to check the system, they
work
fine...
Any advise welcome
TIA
Grumpy
