He he he.. that's sorta what I used.. the female end of a metric jic
fitting...
Had a heluva time finding a metric pipe or adj wrench to thread in the o2
sensor though..

Recently with my Rover 3.5 efi project I had also gray hair with O2
sensor
threads. At last I found easy and cheap solution. DIN L12 hydraulic
tube
fittings uses same thread. From nearest hydraulic shop buy these
tube
fitting nuts (or fittings). Shorten and fit the nut according your
exhaust
and weld in. You can find plugs from the same place.
