Well, I'd give you some hints, but I'm *just* a mechanic.
'Course if you think about it, plastic usually shatters if it gets
brittle with age.
And if ya think a little more, warm plastic tends to be more flexible
than room temp plastic...
So if you have a way to warm the connectors some before squeezing
them, you have a better chance of removing them without damage.
Careful application of a heat gun can work if you're in a shop.
However, this does not apply to Ford connectors, which often break
under the pressures of a visual inspection.
